Frequently Asked Questions - Materials

Q: Do you silk screen all items?
A: The cost of creating screens and printing a small quantity of signs would be very expensive.  Therefore small quantities are done with vinyl.  (refer to price list)

Q: What kind of paints do you use?
A:  We use only high quality silk screen inks.

Q: What information can you give me about your sign materials?
A: Please see the individual product information pages on our site.  If you have any other questions please contact us

Q: Will the sun and weather damage my signs?
A: Absolutely.  Just as the paint on your car will become damaged, so will your signs.  A car, however, has a clear coating and wax barrier that helps protect the paint.  We offer clear coating (for aluminum signs) and suggest waxing your sign to make the paint last longer.

Q: Is there anything else that will damage my signs?
A: There are many things.  If your sign is in a yard that gets sprayed with fertilizers and pesticides, it will damage the paint as well as the sign panel finish.  Exposure to chemicals can cause the paint and the panel to run, chalk, and / or crack.  We can only suggest that the sign be taken up before spraying.

Q: Are there other materials available to use for signs?
A: Yes.  Plexi-glass and High-impact Styrene are available.  Call us for availability and pricing.
